Abdullah Atalay on TRT Radio's "Gündem Enerji" Program

Our Chairman Abdullah Atalay joined the "Gündem Enerji" (Energy Agenda) program on TRT Radio, moderated by Bülent Kaya. He shared important information on electricity generation, pricing, outages, and solar energy. Explaining how electricity is generated and reaches our homes, our Chairman explained the process of determining electricity prices and the role of distribution companies in this process.

He provided information about the status of electricity outages and the performance of distribution companies. He noted distribution companies' commitment to investment, stating that the 27 million TL of investment in 2022 increased by 27%.

Guiding citizens on individual electricity generation using solar energy, Mr. Abdullah explained the advantages of solar energy and the installation process. He explained that solar panel installation at home can be done under the unlicensed electricity generation regulation, that panel sizing should be based on home energy needs, and outlined installation costs. He also touched on the environmental benefits of solar energy and its role in energy savings.

Sharing his views on Türkiye's goal of becoming an energy trading hub, he emphasized the importance of our country's strategic location and efforts to strengthen energy supply security. He emphasized that Türkiye is taking important steps toward becoming an energy trading hub and plays a significant role as an energy transit country.
